For my trans trmp guage does I know i have one ground, one power ,and then the line that goes to the tranny. which one is power, which is ground and where should i wire them in. Im assuming I piggy back off of the volt meter.

Be sure and check the instructions! Mine had a warning tag on the sensor connection stud stating that incorrect connection would fry it. I connected mine to the power and ground connections at the voltmeter. Look at the stud locations for the oil pressure gauge (assuming you have the "real" gauge), the stud locations and designations (pwr, gnd, snsr) are standardized.

I don't know if you are also installing a temperature sensor manifold for the trans temp, but I found that I had to install a ground strap between the sensor and the block to obtain repeatable readings.
I installed the autometer manifold in the outgoing cooling line from the transmission just behind the front suspension crossmember. Screwed the temperature sensor into the mainfold and wired it to the gauge and the reading just barely moved the needle to 100F. I knew that wasn't correct so I ran a ground strap from around the back of the sensor (where the hex head is) to the block, under the bolt where the trans line bracket is mounted and presto, exactly the readings I expected. Gets to 100F in a couple minutes, runs up to 180F in normal driving. Can actually see the needle move when under heavy acceleration for a few seconds.
If anyone else is getting weird readings I'd recommend grounding any of your sensors to the body or block, the frame is NOT a good electrical ground. You think the frame is grounded, but apparently is not a good ground for electronics/sensors.

Just wire it like you see looking into the back of the gauge.
This diagram doesn't include the backlighting, that's just power and ground to the light bulb.
