Free Leather Jacket?

I just got an offer in the mail for a free Gods-Head Lined leather jacket from Mercury...I'm guessing you all have gotten that too, right? Of course I filled it out and sent it back...its free...now, for those who have it - is it of any decent quality or just one of those items that reeks of shortcuts and mass production?

I had a lady comment this week on my jacket.she claimed it was calfs skinshe said it was too soft, to be leather.You will be pleasntly suprised:D

It is calf's skin... very nice jacket.... of course not free.... had to buy the car to get one :D

I purchased my Marauder on June 5th, 2004. It is of very good quality. I believe it is a black lambskin leather, because it is softer than calfskin, and it is an extremely soft leather, the softest leather coat I've ever owned. It comes on a hanger, in a special coat bag, and in a special box, both with the Marauder logos on them (save them because these items may also be future collectibles?). You should be pleased with your leather jacket, and the company that handles this promotion for Lincoln-Mercury is also very helpful with requirements for larger sizes (I got a XXXL). I think it is a nice touch for a Marauder owner, after buying the car. I only wish automakers would do things like this more often, because these cars are very expensive. It also makes you feel a little extra special.

I didn't know about the jacket when buying the MM in Aug. nor did the dealer.

Dito, the jacket is AWESOME.

After seeing the MM on the lot and then viewing the Mercury web site and seeing the offer, it convinced me to buy.

I did have to tell the dealer, they knew nothing about the offer. I had to then show them the web site to get them to act on the jacket.

Man, I got mine used (yes, it appears someone got sick of a MM?!) and I never got nor had a chance to get my jacket. I would def be willing to pay for a new one, or one in new condition, just where? I have checked E-bay and good ol' small sizes abound (lousy skinny folk). I am really in need of a XXL size! Is there a number I can call for whoever puts it out, as my jacket is kinda well, not a MM jacket! Thanx guys!
