With Christmas a little more than a week away, i was wondering what everybody's doing for the holiday. What are your plans? I'll be spending mine with my family. Mom and Dad live just down the road, and my sister will be here from Chicago with her husband and their two girls. It'll be a big family dinner, cocktails, presents, cigars, and a few games of billiards while watching sports on tv. I wish all of you a happy and safe holiday season.

Gotta work, but someone has to do it. Not so bad though, we do the "pot luck" thing and frankly, we throw together some kickazzed holiday meals. I try to kick some folks loose early if I can, and those who don't get cut on Christmas, will get cut New Years.

All The Best!!!:wreath:HI TALLBOY,
Thanks for asking! I will be spending Christmas eve with my wife, son, daughter and lttle grand daughter (3-1/2 yo). Little Maddie will be opening her presents from grandma and grandpa, uncle, etc. We'll have a light dinner, with mostly little things like pizza puffs, etc. I'll give my mom a call later in the evening to wish her a Merry Christmas. She lives up in Wisconsin.
Christmas morning we'll all watch little Maddie open her presents from her momma in her house. Then a little later we'll all go over to my father-in-law (92 yo) and brother-in-law's house for Christmas dinner and some more presents (whew!). I hope i'll be able to get my Marauder ("Big-Red") washed up nice and shiny. This weekend we are going to take Maddie for ride in Big Red Saturday night to see all of the Christmas decorations. We've never really done that before with her.
I just want to also wish everyone associated with this Marauder website a very, very Merry Christmas, or Happy Holidays, whatever the case may be. I hope you all are healthy and enjoying the holiday season fully. You've all provided me with with a lot of great Marauder information, and reading, and particpating fun the last seven months.
Jim

About three weeks ago Linda says to me,Paul,Did you leave your alarm on? Well no I dont think so and I checked nope. She says she have been hearing an alarm going off everyday and she cant seem to fine out where its coming from and she has been looking everywhere(I was kidding her about Jethro and the doorbell)well last thursday shes sitting at the doctor office and she starts hearing the same beeping,IT`S HER sure enough her pacemaker(pacer) is going off meaning her battery is low.So this morning she went into the Matt Gaberdy Heart Center at Mt.Clemens and had a new upgraded Pacer put in.Its smaller and more powerful and its the forth upgrade for that model since the first one(Linda was the first person to have her kind of pacer put in in the country)It took one hour to do it and about four hours to come around and bingo she will be home around 3:00pm.So this is what were doing for Christmas.Hanging around the house,Just being our little family and give Linda support.Best part is Linda has been busy before this happend and has all the Christmas shopping done and the house is together and I am off until the 3rd so we are ready. :wreath:

Mac, thanks to you and all the other folks standing the watch in our communities and in defense of our nation. It will be nice to be able to walk on and off the ship after taking care of the religious needs of the watchstanders on Big 5, as we call her. We are really blessed to have the great people that keep us safe and free, at home and abroad like you Mac, and the folks I get to work alongside everyday. Many Blessings, -kjs-

I'll be off from 23 Dec until 3 January. There lots of family in the Baltimore-Annapolis area and we have committed to several parties and such to gather on both sides of the family. So, I'll be on the road alot over the holidays. Of course, I will be taking along my Mason-Dixon DVD to regale the relatives with my exploits in drag racing. :D
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to All !!!

I've have to leave my warm home here in GA to do vehicle testing in Michigan. At least with the predicted snow in MI I can play with the 4WD on my truck...be looking for a white Chevy doing donuts in the Detroit area. Then to Indiana so see some pals, on to Alabama to hang with the folks, then back to GA. All in 4 days. I will sleep after that.
