where is the lug wrench. I had a flat this morning.......as if it couldnt get any worse, but when I popped the truck and pulled out that black bag, I found the jack, but didnt have a lug wrench.
Either I am a dork, and its hidden in the jack assembly or my car just didnt come with one.
can some check their kit and see if they have them.

On my 300A with full size spare, the Jack is in a black bag. The wheel wrench is tucked into a slot on the right side of the jack, and needs to be popped out of its bracket for use and storage.

The pic below shows the lug wrench detached from the jack assy.

Mine was missing, too, and under a similar circumstance. Luckily someone with a Crown Vic was in the same parking lot and let me use his lug wrench.

My selling dealer was a dick about it, too, even though it was obvious the wrench was never part of the the kit (not worn paint on the jack where it clips on).

Good news is the wrench is cheap ... $10 over the parts counter.

Of all the things to leave out of a new car! BTW, I always carry an aftermaket 4 way lug wrench so I can get some leverage when needed.

Just went to check mine ... wrench appears to be clipped to the jack.

Looks like you have to be Houdini to get the damn thing out of that bag tho !.

I didn't push it ... seems like I would have torn it if I tried too hard.

I could see me throwing a MAJOR **** fit on the side of the road trying to change a tire on this.

Jack don't want to come out of the bag - wheel don't want to come off the back ... etc etc.

lol

Speaking of tires ...

Somehow I/we managed to drive the fromer Solara all over the area right after Hurricane Charley NEVER getting a flat. Many a trip back & forth to Sarasota the first few weeks after. For Franics or Ivan, we decided to leave & took the Town Car up to Alabama - then from there over to South Carolina & back down here(damn near 2000 miles in a weeks time) ... no tire problems to be had there either. The Solara goes 1100 miles up to MD to get traded in on the MM w/o so much as a hitch then either.

Here the MM sits with @ 3100 miles on the clock ...

The RR tire has already had a screw extracted & repair done ... & in the past few days I've had to nurse (top off) the LR tire as there is now a screw in THAT one.

:censor:  :mad2:  :censor:
