im sure they would be awesome cars.. just remember they have been pushed to the limit (maybe abused?) for their whole life... not like most normal cars...

Real hard miles!!!
That's true. IMO The exhaust system would be modified, no cats, possibly no mufflers. I can't think of anything else that would make them Not street legal.

Thank you sir for answering that question. i guess it wouldn't take to much to convert it back to street legal i mean that list is impressive. riding around in something like that or better yet going to a meet with that would a real head turner and conversational peice..
Sorry im late with this post 2 went by while i was typing .darn fingers !! i need faster ones.. :D

After thinking about this, I don't believe you can make these cars streetable. This may explain why these cars are still on the selling block even though it's been two years since Bondurant retired them in favor of GM vehicles. These Vics were specifically built for track use, and may not be able to be registered. "Body in white" cars do not have VIN's and can't be registered. Note that the Ebay descriptions do not show VIN numbers and DO say they were ordered from the factory as track-only vehicles. I'll bet they lack VIN's and are therefore can never be registered --or, for that matter, insured by your normal car insurance policy.
That's not to say these aren't interesting cars. They certainly have collectability, and you can have some fun with them on a track somewhere.

I agree. I bought an old Honda factory CRX race car 10 years ago and it had no VIN. I had a ball with it but it was definitely a track only car.
