Just wanted to introduce myself. I just received my 2004 Silver MM from NPLM last week and i'm dropping it off at Reinharts today to start the project. Living in the same town has it's advantages. I could not have been more impressed with Dennis and I can't wait to get the car back after the holidays with some serious horsepower. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

You get to grin the whole way from San Antonio and then watch the grin grow as you drive it away after Dennis "fixes" it..

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I only live 15 minutes from Dennis' shop so I'm excited about watching the progress. I dropped the car off this morning so the transformation can begin. We are doing gears, sway bar, control arms, brakes, gauges, Transmission, cooling mods, torque converter, exhaust and manifolds, driveshaft, thermostat, plugs,spoiler, Red inserts,news set of widened wheels, a S/C and a partridge in a pear tree.....

I believe that is the number. I called on the car and the guy said he had a silver one and then said it was sold to a guy in Fl. I wanted that color so I told him I'd keep looking. Two days later he called me and said that it was available and the rest is history I guess it was meant to be. Also, funny story my buddy Mike Muldrow a 04 DTR owner asked you guys about shipping and We got a company called Centurion Transport that was dropping a load of Mercedes literally across the street to bring it back 1100 miles from San Antonio for 500.00, so like I said meant to be.

Ray, you should do a search on Mike's post and the threads that followed. We even did a poll on how the car should get to Dennis. 80+% wanted you to drive, and several guys offered to do it just for the adventure. You were a famous guy long before you checked in.:D Glad to hear from you, and we hope to learn a lot more about the project along the way. Don't be a stranger.:high5:
