Here's Marty and John, somewhat concerned about getting enough dessert.

Here's Kim, our hostess, trying to keep the dessert pile stocked. Note the canolies are disappearing fast (Marty). We also had an "expert surgeon" (so he claimed) hard at work.

Marauder cake and pie, yummy. Please excuse the fact that up here in the Northeast we don't send our bakers to spelling school.

Great pictures but I wouldn't call myself an "Expert Surgeon"....not yet. I'm only on pies...this cake was new territory.

Paul,
Thanks for the pics. It is sad that the event was at my place and didn't take any pictures.

I just wanted to add, what a great bunch of folks! This is the part of Maraudering you can't put a price on, the people who share a common interest. I think perhaps the whole "2%ers" thing really refers to the 2% of people who you're really glad to meet. BTW Valkyrie, was that the correct neighbors house?

Also, anyone desiring photo's of the event, drop me a line (pm, em, phone) and I'll get Mrs. Casey to burn a disc for you. There are more photo's than I posted, those were my favorites.

That was the right neighbor. My Father-in-law that just stopped in almost shat himself. :D

Thanks so much Paul - great pictures! Also thanks again to Harry & Kim!

Now, what am I going to do while I'm off from work untill January 6th? Was thinking about a ride up north for an overnighter in NH to see some old friends. What can we do for a New Year party/get together?

Had a great time at the party. Thanks to Harry (Valkyrie) and Kim and their adorable girls for opening their home and being such terrific hosts. The house looked really nice. The food was excellent (including some great desserts) and the company even better. They even had a fire going in the outdoor fireplace! And we all got to take a peek at the supercharger project.

It was lots of fun as always hangin' out with Marauder folks.

I hope we can all meet up again in January.

I posted some pix of the party in my gallery (better late than never).

Thanks again,
:2thumbs:

First, the line up and the complaint dept.Would you guys mind stating who, (by name and MM.net Nick) is in the group photo below? It would be nice to place a name with a face... Some are known from other threads, (Marty doesn't seem to be picture shy, and I could spot him at an event) but others are unfamiliar.

If you can.... thanks.

It's a date!

We just got to figure out what?!

Judging by the ash on the cigar in Valkyrie's hand, that is not some cheap cheroot. [Connecticut broadleaf wrapper with a Dominican filler?] Looks like a great time...
