I have that seat in my MM Wes. Gage likes it, but the back padding could be a little better. Nice cup holders as well. Summit Racing had them on clearance last spring for like $120. I couldn't resist it.

And it is good for kids up to 100 pounds. Our 7 year old no longer uses anything, but always sits in the back seat, belted up. Seat belt seems to fit her fine. This is what I want for the new baby when it comes!!!

Ok, seeing as we're talking child seats...
What are you doing to protect your Marauder's seats from the child seats? The rear strap has made a depression in the top of my seat back and the base 'feet' dig into the seat cushion.
I just bought some Prince LionHeart 'Two Stage Seat Saver' (a stiff, shaped mat that goes under and behind the child seat).
I was just wondering what others are doing.

I never saw the seat saver. Who sells them? I put a towel under the car seats in my Wife's minivan which she bought to transport the Grandchildren.

Telson....DUDE!....post a pic or a link please.
I am using the stiff styrofoam insert from a very large Alcatel DSLAM CPU circuit card. I trimmed it to fit around and in between the two seat belt buckles, and it slides under the rear seat a bit. I use a doubled up black towel on the back side of the seat.
Would love to see this item you speak of, and colors available.
BTW: The seat above works entirely with teathers leaving your seatbelts unused. I like that feature. Our seats have teather rungs to accomodate 3 seats in the rear. One is enough for me however!!!

Argh, sorry. I meant to say that I bought the Seat Savers from Babysaurus (Babies R Us), $20 each.
Colors: black and beige. So, uh, really just black then, right?
Pics? Sure, CruzTaker!
BTW, a note before you look at the pics -- I release the tension on the child seats' straps each night, so that why everything looks loose and the child seat isn't in quite the right position.
SeatSaver - cushion -- this shows the child seat sitting on the seat saver
SeatSaver - back -- the seat saver back is only connected to the front by velcro and doesn't get in the way of the LATCH tethers.
SeatSaver - carpet strips -- shows how I use carpeting because the seat saver isn't quite wide enough for the ridiculously wide seat my daughter uses. Also multiple carpet strips where the top strap digs in to the top of the seat back. The straps are loose at the moment, hence it all looks a bit odd.
I was using carpet strips under the seats, but they slid over each other and made the seat able to move from side-to-side at the front (though the back was still tight). Anyway, my wife went bananas and insisted that I find an alternative solution. She approves of the current method (though it still moves at the front).
SeatSaver - boxes -- so you know what to look for. They were in with the strollers.
Note: These child seats didn't cause any problems with the cloth seats in my '92 Taurus (with a towel underneath) but the towel didn't do enough to protect the Marauder seats.
Hope this helps!

Did you see these on "Overhaulin" when they redid the 62 Chevy and redid a pair of these seats to match the interior of the car? It was for the schoolteacher who had twins.

I just saw that episode of Overhaulin' last week. Thought that was pretty cool with the seats.
Definitely need to get one of those seat savers when the time comes (less than 6 months now!!).
