Asked my dealer if he was going to get in a blue MM, or maybe order a silver MM, his comment..........not till I sell the 3 black ones I got.

A few weeks ago, my dealer told me I got the last of their allotment, and they basically had no plans to order any more...

I guess it's not a high-demand item...I'm not sure if that's  or

...but I figured the deals wouldn't be there when silver was available.

Oh, well! I guess that tennis elbow (from all the washing a black car requires) isn't a bad thng, right?

With the threat of war looming, the rebates won't be going away anytime soon.

2003 order form also lists map pockets in front seat cushion. They are deleted from the 300B. John :(

As far as I've been told by my dealer there aren't really any allotments, some dealers just ordered too many as stock from the beginning.
Also some dealers in parts of the country are shipped to before dealers in other parts of the country. A silly distribution system that has caused shortages in some places and excesses in others.

Any dealer can order a silver car if you want one. Don't let them tell you they can't. They either want the sale or they don't.

Absolutely true! ANY car salesman will usually jump through hoops trying to obtain and sell a car to a prospective buyer.

John:

It seems (as indicated in other threads/posts) that each MM has a little of its own personality. My 300B has pockets on the front and back of the seats. Frankly, I haven't figured out a use for the front one's yet, other to catch crumbs if I am eating and driving (yeah, like that will ever happen in MY car!!).

On the order form under the heading: Windshield wipers it states " concealed " Can someone please tell me what that word means, the wipers on my car are actually " exposed " very, very " exposed " Thanks for the help.

The wiper thing is fixable by the dealer.
