I recently read an article in Super Rod Magazine (Feb. 05) about a new item from from Hypertech called the Hyperpac. Will this work on our Marauders? (Probrably have to get a response from DR or Lidio as it hasn't really been released to the public). It did sound neat though, as it does the tune up with gears, tires, shift points, timing, and all the other general changes that are done to cars. It can also be left plugged into the cars computer while driving and can make quarter mile runs, logging reaction times, elapsed times, speeds, and other information. Summit Racing is already listing them on there website, (No specific part numbers for each car / maker) with shipping after Christmas.

I'm pretty sure it works with anything that's OBDII. Thanks for reading our magazine btw, and if you like that issue, you'll really like the next one.

Hey Will S., does do the full reprogram like the other hypertech programmers or is it just useful for the dyno / diagnostic type things?

Thanks, that's the type of info I was looking for. Summit did list part numbers, but no listing for which one went for what type of vehicle.

I have a prototype unit in my car now. Hypertech is just about to release the Hyperpacs for the '97-up Mustangs, and they used my car to test one for the Marauder. They have never offered tuning for our cars, but that may change. There will at least be a Hyperpac available even without tuning. It's a really neat product.
