2004 catalogue, page 111..."M-5230-T2*" 29.95

2005 catalogue, page 93..."M-5230-T2*" 27.95

The "*" following the part number means limited supply?

Thanks Mac, I was able to find them with the parts number at their online website. Found out what the "*" means!

" * Not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. "

Pretty much...anything that makes your car run better or faster is for off road use only!

The ones in motorsport catalog aren't delete tips. They're production tips.

(2.25" inlet vs 2.5" on the delete tips)

OK, now I'm confused: These are production tips, WITH the baffles, but they're not for street use?...and they're only $27.95?!...I'm missing something here, aren't I...

I talked to Meg's a while back about these tips. When Ford killed the MM program, they called Meg's and asked them to buy the tips back, Meg's Declined, since they already had welded the 'baffle/resonator' into the tips, so Ford apparently decided to just put them into the Motorsport Catalog vs throwing them away. Last time I checked, there were a few sets left nationwide, hence the 'limited quantities' that they posted.

They say not for street use for a lot of things, but they do it on exhaust parts to be careful not to get in trouble with Emissions standards, even if it's just an exhaust tip. So, if you're looking for a spare set of stock tips, this is the way to go. If you want delete tips, these AREN'T the ones you're looking for.

Yes, I do...but for $56, I'll take another pair...10 years from now, when they're no longer available, I'll be glad I did...

Even if I get rid of the car before then ( ), I can sell them to some n00b for a ridiculous sum... :bunny2:

Not to hi-jack the thread, but did anyone happen to see the 5.0l "Cammer" modular crate engine - PN M-6007-T50EA. "at least 400Bhp and more than 365 ft./lbs."
Very expensive and the throttle body is on the wrong side, but interesting!
