I've ordered a set of Blizzacks (225/60-16 fronts and 235/65-16 rears) for my car (I'm hoping that the roads will be nice once I'm prepared for the worst)!! Anyway, there has been much disscussion (arguments?) about tire pressures for the stock tires. Is there anyone, with a year's worth of driving on 16" winter tires on 7" wide rims, that can give me some feedback on pressures used and resulting tread wear?

Thanks,

Tire Rack.com is where I purchased my winter tires. Good price and fast delivery already mounted on the wheels. They are also a supporting vendor here. They have a link on the home page of this site.

The problem is that winter tires do better with summer air.

I keep 36 PSi all around in mine. I see it that you wnat to keep them fully inflated so the contact patch doesn't spread out too much, plowing the snow. Snows are generally designed to "cut" through the snow.

That's what I do....
