Boy it's tough to keep the sand and salt off of my Marauder in this winter season!!! I drove it last year all winter too, but I had forgotten how difficult it was to keep a black car looking clean in the winter!!! It's hard enough to do in the summer!!!! I'm going to try and avoid taking it through an automatic carwash though, since I don't want it getting scratched up by those things. I'll have to resort to those "touchless" carwashes on the real cold days since we don't have heated self-serve bays anywhere in this state that I know of.

If anyone has any tips for keeping her clean in the winter time, pease let me know.

Don't drive the MM in winter's mess, pick up a beater, (that's what they make rice products for)..

Don't drive the MM in winter's mess, pick up a beater, Well, yes, that would be ideal. However, i don't think that I'd even want another rice burner even for the snow. I'd much rather pick-up an old RWD car. Or if I had to go Japanese, then atleast an old RWD Mazda RX7 would be okay. Infact, they're amazingly pretty good in the snow (I had an 85 RX7 once).

You could do a quick bucket wash (small bucket best) in about 15 minutes. I have done this in temps. as cold as 15. Just be quick.............

that's what someone else on here once said too, but whenever I've tried to wah it in temps below 30, the water freezes on it before I can dry it off. maybe I'd have to resort to washing and drying it in small areas at a time just to be quick, if that's even possible. I dunno.....
