Ok, we're going to have a raffle at the Pic-Nic. Cost of the ticket will be the amount for the food, nothing more.

I would like an honest unbiased assestment of the local weather conditions for Sunday, Even if it doesn't rain heavily tomorrow, if it has ALREADY rained heavily there will be mud.
I don't want to drive 270 miles to play in the mud, if we were a 4WD club than mud is good.....mud does not go with my car.... I would much rather postpone the picnic until we have good weather than make a mess of the interior of my car..and my new door sills...please the LOCALS need to speak up and say what you have going down there weather wise. Thank you very much. Javier.


PS: At last years picnic which was great by the way, everything ended when the rain hit.

It has been raining but not downpours. Its been overcast and some showers for a brief time. Im looking outside now and the ground is wet but not flooded or muddy. It should clear up today later on.

Worst case we actually park the cars in the parking areas, I beleive the place will be deserted as most Floridians are squeamish about rain... go figure.

We'll have plenty of canopies and such so getting wet shouldnt be too much of an issue. Getting the group photo will be dicey though!

Went out to Dinner tonite. I live in the area of Markham Park and things are drying up. 20 % chance of rain. The next 2 days will be good ,only thing they are saying at this point is winds 12-15- mph. Later in the day the winds will increase. Should be a nice day.

Its about 11:00pm on Saturday and the rain has stopped for the past few hours. Things are starting to get better. A 20% chance tommorow but the only thing we have in the forcast is the wind. Ill be at the park at 8:00am to start setting up the grills and tables. We will have 2 tents at the park just in case. Remember if anyone wants to drink Beer Please bring your own. Overall it looks like a good day afterall for the picnic.....See you all there...for those who are driving long distance i wish you a safe trip and try not to get too many speeding tickets on the way to the picnic..:beer:

Well just got up 15 minute's ago. 5:30 am can't sleep .Took a look out side things are drying up nicely, thats good, weather here looks good. Robert( Ghost03) I'll pack up the 2 tents( 10x10) or shade covers, Got the radio with some new batterys so we will have some music, 2 coolers with ice ,10 Traffic Cones, 2 plastic covers with some duck tape & I'll bring 2 or 3 more tables to put the stuff on. Being I'm up so early I'll be at the park earlier around 8-8:30 to drop this stuff off with my wifes truck.
