My 2003 MM came with very slim flexible wipers and I love them! Its finally time to replace them but the dealer has conventional looking wipers.

TireRack has a blade like the OEM MM unit - use the link off this site and search the wipers @ TireRack!

That's funny, I couldn't wait to get the skinny stock wipers off and the regular ones on. :)

I did too! But now that I have used Bosch, Anco & whoever else you can think of - none of them working much better than the skinny ones - I might be ready to try the skinny ones again to remind myself why I didn't like 'em in the first place!
Rain-X makes it a moot point!

Give the Valeo Smartblades some consideration. They have treated me great and that's all I've used on my cars. The Bosch's I had all chattered and fell apart.

Thanks, I will try Tire Rack.
I like the skinny ones as they...
1) Are skinny and look the best because...they are skinny!
2) They are so floppy they seem to adhere to the curve of the windshield better.
3) They lasted almost 2 years (And I live in NJ ...the rain state).
P.S. I am closing on my new home in Anthem Arizona this month...Yipeee!

The OEM wipers that the dealer but on my car left more rubber on my windshield than was left on the wiper. This was the first time water was on it. Do you realize how hard it is to get that rubber off?
I use car wax. Better than Rain X IMHO.

As soon as Ithe rubber comming off on the glass I removed them,They were only on for a few days or so .I did not have a lot to clean but it was sticky stuff!I would think the car wax did a decent job removeing the black gunk off the glass? We got our second snow yesterday and I drove a little in it The blades did not keep the glass clean and seemed to attract all the moisture sleet/snow offered it.

I am going to try the blades silver_04 sugested but I have never heard of that brand. Thanks as always, I never stop learning here!

MikeI was able to contact Jim Rouse at Trico in this past August. His most recent reply to me this past September was that the Beam blade wipers should be available at NAPA, after the 1st of the year. Trico had just started production of the blades. I'll be looking for them also.
