Been looking everywhere for some insight on how to remove the dash properly and how to remove the stereo so I can hook up some PAC stuff for my iPod.. Anyone have any resources or personal suggestions?

First off, your PAC box will not fit behind your head unit in the dash unless you want to cut away some guts of your inner-dash. I wouldn't suggest that due to the defroster routing.

Second off, unless they came out with the correct able for our cars you must be stuck using the ABFRD-12 like they suggested. You are in for some wiring. The ABFRD-20 will not fit either.

Third off, since the box will not fit behind the dash without cutting you have two choices: Extend the 16 wires from the original pin and have the box behind the dash closer to the floor, or cut away. Your choice completely.

Those are my personal experience suggestions.

As for getting behind the dash you need the DIN removal tools - they do not have them at Auto-Zone, and I found mine at Wal-Mart. They are two U shaped tools that press into the four square holes on the head unit. Click those in and pull it out.

Best of luck to you! I'm not trying to be snotty, I'm giving someone the heads up from my experience.

Thanks...I think:( :)

I think that's a little too much trouble than I cared for.

You can save a nickle and make these out of a hunk of coat hanger.

you don't have to take the dash apart. DIN removal tools as earlier stated are cheap and look like 2 U shaped wires. The radio will pull out enough for you to see how little room you have behind the radio. There is some room underneath the drivers side dash though that you might be able to use.
Don't get too discouraged, the ipod adapters are coming to market at a fast and furious pace and expect more now that the CES is over. here's a couple links to check out.
