Just did a bluebook pricing on my 03. $23,000 + retail up $1000 from when I bought it Last year. Not bad.

Strange, I got my statement in from Ford, 23,075. But value going up? I think maybe just a short term thing. But still nice!!!

Might just be the low milage, less than 17,000. hear is the link

If you change the milage and add the cd changer.

I'm surprised that the location isn't an issue. I'd expect that cars in Detroit are cheaper because of the number of program cars and A Plan lease turn-ins.

Hey mcb26,
Bluebook numbers though a good guidline to examine values, not necessarily what one may trade hands for:twocents:

There's 3 values put on a car by NADA and Kelley Blue Book.
1) Retail value.
2) Private party sale.
3) Trade-in value
You can realistically expect #2 if you sell your car, and obviously #3 if you trade your car in. Even a car dealership doesn't anticipate being able to sell a car for the #1 value.

And when I mentioned blue book, the dealer said well then get KBB to write you a check. I was hoping for at least 20000 since I owe 25.

The #1 reason people don't trade cars!Maybe cause it is hard to drive upside down!:D
