MM spotted in NYC

Friday afternoon, Jan14. A Black MM was seen entering the Con Edison facilty at E 16 st. & Ave. C. I saw the car as I was comming out of the building and tried to follow the car to see if it was someone from here, and if not to introduce them to the site. It looked as though the car was going to park near the main entrance to the building. So I started to walk in between the rows of cars toward it. But then it backed out and drove through the lot again. I lost site of it, and never saw it again. There were two people in the car, and the passenger was wearing a suit. I never saw the driver. Was it anyone from here? If so, what brought you to the Con Ed facilty?

Wasnt me, but I was up there in Deer Park a week and a half ago. I was up on RT 231 between Dix Hills and No. Babylon.

Yep, he is. In fact he, his wife, and their baby were at the Christmas bash that we all had at Harry's house!

Martyo, Do you know where your friend Vern regularlly works out of? What dept is he in? I've been trying to convince a fellow co-worker to buy a MM. He likes his brother's '04 Crown Vic, and was thinking of getting a CV Sport for himself. He is close to going for the MM but needs a little further push. Maybe if he talked with another co-worker who owns one, it might seal the deal.

To Defyant, we see lots of MM in this area along 231. I try to catch up with them when I can and pass along info to them for this site. Though I haven't seen a Silver MM yet.

I still don't know about the MM at the Con Ed yard. It has not been back since. But I did spot a MM parking on the corner of Broadway and Beaver St. downtown on Tuesday afternoon. I saw red lights on the dash, and an official looking placard on the dash too. So I went over and talked with the driver/owner. Turns out he is a member here. But of course I am a knucklehead because I forgot his name. I've been working a lot of overtime lately, that day included. So my mind has been a bit foggy. Or is that snow I'm seeing?!

His name is FirstMarauder (David) and is a member of an ambulance corp. so he gets the flashing lights. Oh, and he is a nice guy too!

That's right Marty, now I remember. It was cool to meet someone from the board. And of course knowing it was a fellow MM.Net member's car. I kept worrying some idiot was going to hit it sliding on the ice.

...just to chime in here, I saw one on East 14TH between Avenue A and 1ST Avenue maybe 3 weeks ago. However this one had Jersey plates on. Fer sure! :D
