...Ford Motor Company dropped the SVT concept and initiated the 'custom assembly/special handling' (CASH) group.
This 'new' line would take the base model coach with high tech CAD/CAM frame and install all the brand name components of your choice from the frame up.
1. Any engine configuration (6, 8, 10, 12 or 16 cylinder); N/A or S/C, built to your specifications with the appropriate power train (manual or auto tran.) to back it up. All necessary engine bay accessories and optimal exhaust system tuned/toned to provide the most exhilarating 'muscle music' possible.
2. Suspension, brakes, wheels, tires...all of your choosing.
3. Seats and interior color(s), material(s), guages, layouts, and media as you desire.
4. Exterior paint and finish in any color(s) or pattern(s) you can imagine.
5. Finished product will be road tested on Ford proving grounds with final test drive and acceptance by YOU.
The alarm went off just as I was getting into MY car for the 'test' drive.....
Tonight, I'm going to dream of winning the LOTTERY so I can afford to pay for this 'wonder' car...or better yet, I need to get a hobby to occupy my idle mind!!
With winter and my Marauder in hibernation, I have too much time on my hands.....
BTW, anyone care to guesstimate the cost of such a dream car??
