Congrats Joe!! :D

I've had mine since June '03, believe me ,... it doesn't wear off!

first mod?... If you want to keep your warantee intact start out with a Superchips Microtuner. If you have to take her in to the dealership you can restore the stock tune.

Check out our vendors. Good group of folks! They'll sqaure you away!

Ever go to bed and turn out the lights and try to think of a valid reason to get back up, dress and go drive somewhere in your car, only to realise the "trip to the store" wasn't really neccessary, and that you just wanted to get back behind that steering wheel, crank up the BTO or Steppenwolf and lurk around the traffic lights looking for victims?

You will now. :D

I also cannot help but look back and gaze at my Marauder after every time I've just parked it as I'm walking away. It's difficult to walk away from it!!!! If some day I hear it start talking to me, then I'll know that I've gone completely psycho.

In the morning on the way to the kitchen for coffee, I stop by the window overlooking the driveway to say "Good Morning Marauder"

What is wrong with us?

Can this be simply because before we found our Marauders, atleast most of us were so used to all the UGLY looking cars that the manufactures spew out of their factories these days? And we're all overwhelmed by the beauty of the miraculous Marauder body style? :hmmm:

My lovely wife and I have been married going on 43 years and whenever
she asks "why in the world would you want to do that to a brand new car"?
I always respond, " if you ask a question like that then you'll never understand the answer."

Kinda like me trying to under shoe shopping.

Ain't love grand?

Kinda like me trying to under shoe shopping.Yeah, that's exactly what I said to my older sister on Christmas day when I showed my nephews and brothers the burnout vid that I just did, and she got a peek at it. She said..."why did you do that to your car?"......and I responded EXACTLY the same as you did. :banana2:

People who aren't hi-perf car enthusiasts just don't get it, and they never will. So I don't even bother trying to explain it to them. It's these same type of people who work at some dealers who sometimes want to void a warantee for something like an exhaust modification or a different gear ratio.

Maybe they should be in the biz of selling curtains, or Barbie dolls instead of in the car biz.

Mines tucked away in the garage for the winter.

Every time I walk into the garage and get into my winter beater...or my squad car...I take a peek into the 4th stall and say "Hi girl...!"

We're a sick bunch... ;) :D

Joe Welcome to the MM site. It is the best on the net. Enjoy your new ride. You can get anything you want for your Marauder right on this site. IMO the best bang for the $ are the 4.10 gears, denso plugs and a cooler thermostat. Check with the vendors on this site for pricing.

It's the "Satchmo" paradox. The king of England once aked Louis Armstrong to explain Jaz. The answer? King, if I gotta explain it, then you'll never understand.

Joe, :welcome: Enjoy the ride. As Haggis and others have already noted, the grin just keeps growing. I've had a bunch of very cool cars, over the years, and the MM is the best of the lot.:D
