So I'm at my Ford dealer getting the oil changed on my Moutaineer today when I look over in the shop and see a gray Marauder in one of the repair stalls. Of course curiosity got me so I walk over to look at this vehicle. Turns out that it is a Police Interceptor Crown Vic that the owner turned into a "Forauder". The guy who owns it found a totaled out 2003 MM and took the jewelery off of it and put them on his Vic. The car has the MM wheels, front end, rear end, and exhaust. One of the employees sees me looking at it and came over to talk to me. He told me that the car now is the same thing as a Marauder because it has a 3.73 rear end in it  I asked the employee if the owner knew that we had the DOHC and the employee grined and said yeah thats why the owner put the 3.73 in it so it would be the "same" as a Marauder. We both started cracking up. that employee knows what we have and what this guy has. Ya just gotta wonder sometimes.

I think thats pretty cool that people are making clones of the MM. We didn't think people would do it, but they are.

Soulriot that is by far the best picture I have seen of a group shot, do you have a backround of it?

I used to think this picture I took two years ago with my Vic @ B.a.D. Bodies was the best :P

did you look at the motor by chance? a buddy of mine also found a wrecked marauder and put the motor into his 92 vic. he also has 3.73 gears, shift kit, and a chip. that car humms along pretty darn good. :burnout:

by the way he also has the mm wheels on the car too! :)

Yes I did, the hood was up on the Forauder and it had the standard SOHC that all the Crown Vic's come with. I will say though, who ever painted the car did a nice job, I also wondered why the owner did not put the MM bodyside moldings on it. He left the Police Interceptor flat moldings on.
