Power door lock sticking in cold weather

Anyone have trouble with the power door locks (all 4 from time to time) not working on lock or unlock in very cold weather. (under 20 degrees) all 4 doors from time to time will not work and there is a buzz noise where the unlock moter is trying to work but does not. not all the doors do it at once but all door locks will act up.

not me, its been 0 for a few days and just hit our high of 15 today. No problems.

No problems here in zero weather. Could it be moisture freezing and causing the failure ???

I had an odd occurance with my 03 a few weeks ago in cold weather...went to open the door and it latched half way or something and couldn't get out. I had to press the unlock button to get out, even though the door was't locked.

It was probably a fluke with me not opening the latch all the way, but the cold can do some funny things to any car. :) No specific problems on the auto locks tho...

Could be landman however running the car in a carwash should not cause it. seems like i may have a bach of bad power motors or somthing :(

Unlikly all selenoids are at fault (actuators) I would think something that ties them all together would be suspect.ie; ground wire loose ?? I am not a tech, just looking for the simplest cause.any warranty left?

it has 5000 mi left on the warranty. the shop will only fix it when i can show them it is messing up. however it is ok durng the day. different locks mess up at different times so i do not think it is a loose ground wire or anything like that. i think it is a moisture problem however. have to wait for a cold morning and take it into the dealer when it is cold and acting up. I do wash the car alot but that should not matter for i wash my other cars in the past in cold weather.
