I have an early 03 MM. I had an alignment at 15000 miles and even after the alignment It apears to me that I can visibly see the top of the wheel leaning in. I was assured by the LM dealer that the Alignment was correct but I have heard some questionable things about this dealer. I now have just over 19000 miles and new tires on the way. My question, Am I looking at an optical illusion or should I be heading back to the LM dealer to complain and a new alignment or should I just hang out and see how the new tires begin to wear?
Side Note: I work in QC and have always been able to see tiny differences as large ones.
Thank you in advance.

Welcome aboard. :welcome: I would have the dealer recheck the alignment.

I agree with you. I have always thought the front tires are leaning inward on the top but at 14000 plus miles my tires are like new.

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllllllllll,

Both.posibly.

My wheels have always appeard to be toed out,so I stringed the car to check it.Nope about 1/16" inch toed in (yea yea don't come back and tell me it should be so and so degrees,I'm old school and inchs work for me).

Now neg camber (or any camber) is easy to check, just make some spacers and tape them to a 24" level so they touch onlythe edge of the rear rim, compare the angles front and rear.Zero camber is of course strait up and down.
Stock is no more than 1/2deg neg,I think.

The tail ends of the specs put camber at something like -1.25 deg give or take. Your MM may be at the end of the spec. I've seen some vehicles with about -1 deg camber and its fairly easy to notice. If it bothers you, have the dealer put it back to the center of the spec. He'll charge you though since there's "nothing wrong with it" now.

I have that appearance on my '04 LX Sport. It always looks like the allignment is off, but I have not noticed any irregular tire wear.
