Beware of Paint Chipping Flaw on Gauge Console

I just noticed the painted surface on the gauge console is starting to chip away around the cigarette lighter opening. Another lil headache to content with and can't figure out why the paint is not adhering to the panel??? Will have dealer order a new one ASAP. Anyone else noticed this?????

That sucks, Im curious to know if anyone else has noticed this. The wonderful thing about the car is the warranty and this site to let everyone know about issues. I brought a binder with information from this site when I was at the dealer, and we went over problems that would be taken care of before I drove away with the car. Thanks Logan for this great site!!!

Hmm... does it look black in the chipped areas? If so, yah, I've got the same problem. Only mine was inflicted by the dealer when it was taken in for a new shifter plate.

Oh yes indeed its black and just the tip of a fingernail will remove the paint so take heed my friends...Must be careful even when cleaning with my cow t---s for fingers..... Surely more than 3 people have noticed????
