Does anyone have winter wheels for sale or trade for 1997 T-Bird Sport aluminum 16" summer wheels?

For a T-Bird, or for a Marauder?

If for the T-Bird, I have virtually new Blizzaks WS-50's (215-65-15), mounted on a set of Cougar 15" wheels. The Cougar ran like a champ with them, even with 3.73's out back. Here's a picture of the wheels:

While the right bolt pattern, I don't think the wheels would clear the MM's calipers, and same sized tire on all four WILL cause traction control issues.

Sorry about the confusion. I'm looking for winter wheels for the MM. I've been told my 16" T-Bird rims won't fit the MM.

I recently was looking for winter wheels, and someone PM'd with the great resource known as the FAQ at the top in menu - they're in there ;)

Here's the info:

2003 Interceptor rims (for winter tire package) (215/65-16s {front} and 225/70-16s {rear} recommended to maintain an accurate speedometer) 3W7Z-1007-CA

I can hook you up with a set of the steel wheels, with or without tires, if you're interested. :)

cheers,

Thanks for the info blackf0rk, but I already knew that. I'm looking to see if someone has some to sell.

fast Ed, can you get them for less than $105.75 - 10% Ford employee discount = $95.17 ?

And I was quoted $86.10 - 10% Ford employee discount for the center cap!!!!

Nope, can't beat that!! That's bottom line pricing you're getting. :)

BTW, the Mercury logo centre caps that Ray had posted the info about, they are about $20 each cheaper than the Crown Vic Police caps.

cheers,

I used the plain steelies that come on base clown vic(sorry:cool: )and GMQ.I got Ford Ranger centercaps, the only difference I could see is that they say Ford on them.I got them used for $20.00 ea. I had to get the different lug nuts that are a little shorter, and have a retainer ring to hold them on.I got all through my dealer, except the centercaps I found them on the net, with some help here!

The car looks just like an unmarked! cept for the tips, Gods' heads, ect.:coolman: Anyway that was the look I was going for,If I was forced to take off her real sneakers, BTW My marauder loves cold weather, WOW!:burnout:

I called Tire rack about this wheel package.I do think they are nicer looking than the steel especially for virtually the same money.I may have paid a little more than that, cause the caps and lugs were another hundie+ .But I was going for the Look:o

Vern was rolling through Yonkers last week, and caught me on Central Avenue.
He said the wheels looked good!
He had to take a double take at the car because it looked like a Marauder
but he didn't see the polished wheels, so he waited until he saw my fog lights
to flag me down...

I have 5 if you want to make the pilgrimage down. I just have no use for the other wheels.

I'd head down there in a heartbeat. Would be a nice little 22 hour cruise, but the pregnant wife and 9 month old might differ in opinion.
