Is any one using the Cobra manifolds with the x pipe with stock mufflers and the tips delete?
I want to go to the delete tips but was wondering how the sound is with the above items?
Thanks, Greg

As I have said several times on this net, I am a voice of one who recommends an alterative E/S that is normally underrated in performance and sound. It is the Ford Racing Cobra shorty ceramic coated headers coupled to the Magaflow Cobra X-pipe and hi-flow CATs connected to the stock mufflers and tips. The system is not loud, but louder then stock, no cabin drone at 70-80 mph. It has a nice low growl and snap to it.

Interesting idea. Are the Cobra headers available directly from Ford? What is the approx cost of this setup?

I was under the impression that the Reinhart system used Cobra manifolds and not shorty headers. Perhaps I'm mistaken.

The DR system does use Cobra Maniofolds. I have talked to several Mustand Cobra owner who are makig well over 600RWHP and they are sticking with the stock manifolds. They flow very well and will almost never lean and are much eaiser to install.
