My new toy/accessory for my car. :D I just got it yesterday and haven't installed it yet. Just a little too cold up here to do this without a garage. Hopefully it will warm up just a bit so I can install this on my baby.
Thanks to Joe Walsh for the info on the driveshaft company. :2thumbs:

Schweeet! I'd be all over that if I didn't already have the MMXDS.

Cool!
I went the alternate route as well.
So fess up, what are the specs on these? Are they rated and balanced well? About how much do they cost?
;)

It's balanced to 10,000-11,000 rpms and strong enough to handle up to 1,400 hp.
Mine weight for shipping was 18 lbs. I haven't weighed it myself yet. Mine cost $800 with $14 to ship.

I'm thinking 4.10's will be too high for me. I'm gonna go with 3.73's. I currently have 3.27's. I figure going up two gears sets is enough. Marauder's come with 3.55's right? Plus I drive mine daily/year round and think the 4:10's would get me into a habit of driving too fast. :D

Marauders have 3.55s factory and 4.10s work great... But, Marauders have TALL rear tires (OEM P245/55/18 rears are 28.6" tall) so 4.10s aren't bad at all for the highway.
Compared to my brother's 2000 CV (225/60/16 rear tires) my Marauder sits about 1 inch higher in the rear.
I weighed my PST CF driveshaft and if memory serves it was @ 13 LBs!!
Very, very light..... :)

I had a chance to install my driveshaft. I was a semi warm 40 degrees today. I borrowed a garage to do the install. Everyone's driveway is still loaded with snow.
The install was relatively easy except for the fact that there ain't much room under a car with only jacks. Wish I had access to lift. :depress:
The measurement I gave them seemed right on the dot. The PST and the OEM are just about the same size. Give or take a centimeter. :D
I weighed both driveshafts. The PST is 14lbs and the OEM is 26lbs. I didn't have a problem with the differential yoke like Joe did. The yoke slipped right on.
I will post pictures later.

I was thinking about getting one of these, but my vibration seems to be cured now. Between clocking the MMX shaft and putting in the new posi, my high speed vibes are gone now.
