I have run across a very good "deal" on a complete set of Marauder wheels with the original T/A radials. We also have an 04 Crown Vic LX "Sport" with factory 17" wheels, but would like to dress it up by adding the Marauder wheels and tires. Can anyone confirm that there would be no mechanical "issues" should I decide to go through with this swap? I do have some concern about the front and rear tires on the Marauder wheels not being the same size while they are all the same size on the CV. (I am practically certain that the bolt pattern is the same). But any other advice anyone could offer would be most appreciated.
Many thanks.

2003+ Panthers all will fit/swap fine.
98-02 will bolt on, but wont fit correctly at all.
BTW,factory MM tires were BFG KDWS's

Look for GDMJOE'S CV. He has the MM rims on it.

As wchain and RoyLPita mentioned, they're a direct, bolt-on fit with no clearance ( or any other ) issues.
Recall that the 2003+ revised platform was shared across the Panther line.
As a BTW ... If you have Traction Control you will have to have the same size tires front and aft; the Crown Victoria T/C ABS electronics can't handle a mis-match and will throw an error.
BTW(2) ... The Sport rim centers are a direct-fit on the Marauder rims ( as are all of the other Ford Racing Performance Part 2 ½" centers ). Link (http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB2&Number=649059) <<<<< -click-
I did add ¼" spacers, but they were an appearance choice.

2004 Black Crown Vic LX Sport (6900 miles):help:One problem that you may encounter, is that in order for the larger width and 18 inch tires to fit in the rear of the Marauder, LM had to roll the rear qtr wheel opening to assure clearance. I'm sure that the CV will not have the rolled wheel opening lip. You'll have to try it and see if you actually do experience some interference between the tire and the body. They also say that LM raised the rear of the Marauder for a menacing rake to the car. But maybe they did that to help with the rear tire clearance. Think about it.

NOT an issue; the Crown Victoria ( and Grand Marquis ) got the same fender treatment.
And again ... the larger width ( 8" versus 7" ) is not and issue; there's PLENTY of clearance ( even enough to add a ½" spacer ( with longer studs of course ) - the tire will not rub the outside wheel well ). *Holds true for the inside clearance as well; as with the Marauder, you can even widen the rear rims with no issues.
As mentioned previously ... The 2003+ upgraded platform ( and wheel spacing ) was shared across the Panther line.
Done there, been that. *So ever long ago http://bellsouthpwp.net/g/d/gdmjoe/evil.gif

I am getting my rear MM rims widened and have obtained a very nice set of used MM rear wheels with nearly new OEM BFG tires (3,000 miles) mounted on them to use while the rims are being worked. Is anyone interested in buying the rims and tires to perhaps do the same thing after I get my widened rims back? The price is $600 for the package of two rims and tires plus shipping. It will be at least 3 weeks before the rims are returned. PM me if interested.

Surprisingly, our Crown Vic LX "Sport" has the same rear wheel openings (rolled) that the Marauder has. Perhaps it is because it is the Sport version and came with 17" wheels. But I am going to swap out one of the rear wheels off our Marauder just to be sure before I buy the set in question. Thanks for the heads-up.
