Okay here is the deal! I am looking to trade my DTR with 10K on it with
MODS as listed in signature for a 2003-2004 Cobra Convertable.
I keep my payments you keep yours and we can get a Ford dealer
to do the paper work for us. (I am sure for a price)

Any takers can call me on my Cell# 848-448-2524 or Hm# 813-782-1708

I was almost gonna get a Cobra when I bought the MM, I wish I had.

I like the MM but I would rather have the Cobra.....

Can I still come here and hang with you guys? Best damn web site for
nicest people I have run in to yet!

What would you let your MM go for?

I was upended when I bought it in Aug, so I payed over MSRP for it.
I still owe 37K (WOW HUH?) Thats why I was willing to keep my
payments and someone else keep theirs for a trade. That way ya get
a different car and still make your same payments......:banned:

:( Al,

Sorry to hear about you wishing to trade your MM, but I agree with our brethren here...you can hang with us anytime! You will still be pushing Detroit iron and that's what counts.

Isn't that the way it always is? I know am up ended on my MM but geeze.
They seem to think we can come to some kind of agreement, but I have
a feeling they are gonna try and Jack me around.. We'll see....:D

Well, this may not have worked in your case, but my local dealer, up until about 3 weeks ago, still had an 03 Cobra convertible, brand new on the lot. I debated long and hard about it when I bought my MM a year ago, but the MM having an actual back seat for my 2 kids sealed the deal for me. Good luck with the new Cobra.

Now I don't feel so bad about buying one of the first ones
from Detroit for about $31,000 (a "deal" for Ford employees at the time)...

WOW, I feel your pain:help:

But $$$ is $$$ and the bottom line is that most sane people
will only trade Blue Book for Blue Book value. Emotion has little
to do with trades and unfortunately the Cobra convertible (even IF
you had a supercharger installed) is worth more than the MM.

I suspect our value will change in a year or two as it is a unique
and limited addition...one-of-a-kind musclecar genre vehicle...

It should mimic the rise of the Impala SS (circa 1996) in price and value

But then again, I put about $20,000 into customizing a
1979 Midnight Blue 4-door Lincoln Continental Collectors' Series
(I still think that is one of the sweetest looking and riding cars ever made)
