We had a blast doing 1/4 mile runs at Los Angeles County Raceway. I'll let the others post about their times. I was running 14.6's all day and my best was 14.5 - I was hoping for 14.2 - seems like I need to call Dennis...

I don't really think it helped, but at least I knew I did everything I could to get the best time.

Sorry I missed all the fun, guys! Both Directedby and RocketCouch called me and tried to convince me to make the trip, but I've become way too preoccupied lately . . . you've seen the Starbuck's-girl-in-my-car pictures that I'd posted in my gallery recently, right? Haven't even washed the Marauder in weeks--even forgot to perform a way, way, way-overdue oil change (thanks, Mobil 1)! Pretty girls make you lose your brains . . .

You posted a picture in the gallary that has a sub title "directedby ready to smoke Cobra". The car in the picture is a Mach1 unless he did some major mods.
:burnout: anyway nice pictures, look like lots of fun.

Awwww man! I wanted to go!

I'm stuck over here in the Netherlands. Most people ride bicycles and the biggest car around is a Chrysler Grand Caravan. Many of the cars are actually smaller than golf carts. There are lots and lots of Peugeots, Renaults, and other sad sad little cars. Can't wait to get home and take my MM out again.

Paul:

Thanks for setting this up - it was a blast and really enjoyed the day. :D

Believe you need to get the torque converter to get the time you want. I need a s/c for the time I want - 13.5

Let's do it again soon - maybe the others from No. & So. Calif and Vegas will
join in. Cigars are on me!

PR :burnout:
