I know it's almost imposible to diagnose a problem over the phone, let alone the net, but I was hoping to get some advice that may help me solve the issue quickly without so much trial and error.
I've noticed over the past few weeks, a strange "clunking" in my front end that I can both hear and feel. It doesn't do it all the time though.
Sometimes over bumps, sometimes during or after breaking.
I first suspected the rack as I have had to put two of them in my '98 "Incepid", but my steering is as tight as it's ever been.
I've looked over the suspension and everything seems ok.
Has anyone else encountered anything similar? :help:

Clunking during or after braking can be a sign of something loose in the suspension,
meaning Wheel Bearing, Brake Pads, Brake Caliper Bolts, Caliper Mounting Bolts,
Ball Joints, Shock Absorber, Suspension Bushings (Upper and Lower Control Arm),
Frame Mounting Bushings, etc.

Start looking around in these areas, while someone pushes down on your front bumper and releases,
allowing the front of the car to rise and fall.

Hey, That's exactly what I did last night.
I drove up on the ramps and had my son move it around.
Took some searching but I found it. Loose nut on the driver's side "I'm-not-sure-what-it-is".
Problem solved!
Thanks

Loose nut on the driver's side...

You better be careful how you use this phrase... ;)
