I mentioned this in my last post in the "Any New 04 Blacks or Silvers Left" thread. After reading that thread, I went to the website of the dealer in Gainsville FL that has two MM listed. GONE! They were sold a few weeks ago to the FHP (Florida Highway Patrol). Gainsville told me that the dealer in Fort Myers had one new one, so I phoned them. GONE! Again, sold to the FHP. :mad2:

It's true, because a few weeks ago, one of the Orlando TV Stations broadcast that the FHP now has "18 Mercury Marauders" on the road. The one that they showed was a DTR, unmarked, with lots of red and blue lights behind the grill and strobes in the headlights. :puke:

When driving in Florida, and you see a MM coming up fast on your tail, resist the temptation to step on it as it just may be the FHP. :censor:

Logan knows where to find new MMs, so you can PM him as well as Dennis. Logan offered to help folks as recently as last week. -kjs-

I work for the dealer in Fort Myers, we haven't had a new MM on our lot since last September. Our MM's spent very little time on the lot. We sold about 3 dozen of them rather quickly.
On a side note, our black MM's sold very quickly. The other colors spent a little more time on the lot. It is the opposite for every other car we sell, dark cars are hard to sell in SWFL.

Anyway, try RoyLPita, he seems to know where every new and used MM in the country is and can point you in the right direction.

Dennis just posted he will be doing 5 more so I believe 29 is the magic number for FHP in the State of Florida.
