So I open the hood the other day and I notice a sticker on the underside of the hood, right at the top and to the right of the release latch that says something like Accepted Modifications or something. The only thing listed is s a reprogramed computer or something of that nature.

Anyone ever hear of this? I'll take pictures of it soon...

Thanks

Sounds like your dealer re-flashed the PCM to a newer revision...what's your PCM catch-code?

Catch-Code..not sure where to look (You mean cache code?). Is it on the PCM itsself, or somwhere else?

Yes, that's the dealer re-flash. Should be a code CRD0. They have to put that tag on it by EPA law or something. Its a better program, I had mine done to stop the cold start bog. There's a Special Service Message SSm on it..

blackf0rk, it's a 4-character code that can be found on the driver's A-pillar, near the upper door hinge...it's on a small white square that also has a bar code on it, and will read something like BMD0 or CRD1...

What code do I NOW want to have and what should it be upgraded to?

Blackfork,

Is this similar to what you are describing?

Mike.

Anyone that recieved software updates for whatever reason after the car left the factory will find this sticker inside and on the hood upper right side. I have one as well from when the cold start issue was addressed back in the first month of ownership.

I have since added a big p-touch label to it that says "DO NOT FLASH".;)
