As previously discussed, I will begin designing a Marauder ID Card for the local chapter of the Windy City Marauders. I will have them ready for the quarterly get-together on March 9th at Dell Rhea's.

Any ideas for design?

I will stylaze the name 'Windy City Marauders" and make reference to this board, but I need a tag line, like "American Muscle" or something like that.

with the baby on the way and my crazy travel and work schedule I dont have a whole lot of free time but I will work on it over the weekend.

As for the membership cards...

1) Gee, thanks for keeping it so local 'Poke
2) As far as suggestions for "tag-line" (even though i won't get one...) read Willie's post

Also, our local SVTOA gives us business cards to put on SVT cars that we come across which refers them to the club and the website. I know that MMs are "few and far between", but I've been in Tampa the last 2 days and saw one...would have liked to have had a card with this site referenced to put on the windshield. BTW, instead I used my business card and a note...

Ummmm...got put some thought in this, I'll get back to you. Someone here posted a dictionary definition of the word "Marauder" and I think there may be a hint of something we could use there. Until then, "Tearing up the Heartland" or something along that line, appeals to me.

However, I agree with Todd, on his point. Why not some kind of "National Branch" card for us all?

PS...Ownership should be a must for any member ID card, non-owners and friends can be associates?

IMHO...

Actually, concidering what I end up telling everyone.

"Yes, it's all stock."

Or
Lock, Stock, and two smoken' Tailpipes"

Not to horn in on what your doing locally, but with the small production numbers of this car to date I would love to be part of a national club that perhaps has local chapters as well. I agree with the Sarge on ownership as a requirement for membership and associate membership for non-owners. I would volunteer time to help in this effort if it was to become a national club. This car is definitely special as well as the people that I have met on here that own them. My .02 anyway and I have a pocketful of pennies...lol

Slowpoke: Great idea. You never cease to amaze me? Could have national card then some where it could have room for a local tag line.

Then we could get a dash plaque or maybe choose a secret handshake so we can recognize each other without letting the rest of the world know what organization we belong too. Wait, I know, we could all wear black roses with a ribbon for each released optional color on our lapels whenever we go to a car related event.
Sorry guys, with this weather, I'm feeling cynical today. Just trying to be funny.

i guess the easiest way to do this is when the design is finalized i can post the image to the picture gallery. from there you can download it and print it yourself. I could print them and mail them out but this would not be cost effectivel.

i need to change the design a bit so anyone with suggestion or comments lease post them and i will incorporate them into the final design.

Anyway, I think you should not exclude those of us not so privilaged to live in Chicago. Either way, I would carry your card, and be proud. Afterall....Cleveland sucks....and Pittsburg blows.
