I'am planning a trip to Las Vegas will be departing from Tampa airport March 11th 4 of us.
Question does anyone know of any way to get a good deal on airfare or hotels.
I have checked the net, but was wondering if anyone out there had a tip.
Thanks in advance.

I would always see deals in the Sunday newspaper 'travel' section, think like hotel and airfare $349 w/transfers PP. The newer the casino the more $$ the package.
I woudl say for less than $500 you cna get 3night 4day package at the really nice casino.

This is VERY IMPORTANT so listen up...
The times you want to go to Vegas is when ther AREN'T ANY CONVENTIONS in town.
Check the schedules for the Las Vegas Hilton Convention Center, the Sands Convention Center, and any other centers in Las Vegas.
Most of the rooms are in HIGH DEMAND during these times, and the Vegas itself will be packed with people.
You will be paying TOP DOLLAR for your stay.
If you visit when it is QUIET, you'll get in for next to nothing,
and be able to enjoy the scenery without the hustle and bustle
of the collective white collar trash of the US...
I had to work out in Vegas for the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) this past January.
Rooms were going for $300 - $500/night.
Any other time of the year, the same rooms go for $69/night...
DEMAND controls the prices you pay...

If you belong to Triple A, they have great vacation packages. My wife and I just used them this past December for a trip to Vegas.

no no its Estancia Compson, sounds fancier, you could charge more!
Not only is it important depending on when conventions are there, but what days of the week and time of year. Sunday-Thursday is a lot cheaper than Friday and Sat. Summer is a lot cheaper than winter. Since your date is already planned, there's nothing you can do about that. The one thing you may benefit from is going direct to the hotel to book the room, but do it about 2-3 weeks before your trip. That's when they release all of the rooms that the travel agents putting packages together couldn't fill. The risk, of course, is that you don't get a room.
I'll be there exactly 1 week after you.

All inclusuve resort located within the heart of las vegas. Meals included (all microwavable) ready when you want. All the coors light you can drink. Large (blow up) pool. Great sunbathing options (guests are discouraged to sunbathe in the summer months in fear of bursting into flames)Close to the strip (transportation provided by citizens area transit).

Used to have a good friend who lived out there in Henderson, she was a dancer, so when I visited I got to meet all the ladies... and they were sooo lonely. :D I would take a vacation when I got home!
Before you ask, she got married and moved back east. Otherwise I'd be there right now!
