WOW that was cool. I can't beleive how many of them I actually remembered. Well I remember seeing pictures of them in the mags. I was too young to attend the races. And there was a lot of them I hadn't seen before on that site.

I like this one. I hear Todd still has a pair of pants like that too. Maybe he will wear them to this month's Cracker Barrel breakfast!

Great find Larry,My mind is going into major flashback now and yes there were some great cars back then.A few more that I didnt see but I think they were late 60`s were Pete Seaton "Seatons Shaker"blown Corvair,Maynard Rupps,Gratoit Auto Supply"Chevoom",Dick Jessie "Mr.Unswitchable" Pontiac and my old favorite the "Trader Ray" .The Trader Ray car would always do well agianst the big boys at the old Detroit Dragway and was a crowd favorite.I also found thisWKNR (http://www.keener13.com/spots/Default.htm) its from the sixtys but check out the Detroit and Motor City Dragway spots.

If we find you, which would be hard not to, we probably won't want to admit that we know you! :P

Paul, reading that story was good, going to read the other years too, I can't believe it was that long ago, seems like yesterday, ok, the day before yesterday. That's when racing I think was the best, before the Million Dollar babies .

Love the floppers site. Do a goggle search on gassers, I think there is a site called east coast gassers that will bring back the memories!
