MM eats an STS

I know the header to this thread isnt sayin much but..

Whilst I was test drivin a MM otw to bringin it back to its cage I was ridin up a 4 lane with my oldest son, when what to my wonderin eyes do appear but a lame ass yuppy in caddilac with a sneer. I pulled up next and knocked on the door..i.e. I gave a little gas to show the Maraders Roar. Boy How the yuppie turned towards with fright as we both stopped at that red light. Damn aint my car..yet i did think and smoked a 50k car in a wink. vader shure would be proud of me. The Bold The Black And The Ugly. ; )

Recently I went to Kansas City. On my trip down a Caddy STS wanted to see how my car would compare and I smoked him. I can't believe how fast this "BIG" car gets over 100MPH. Also on my return trip accross Missouri a 94 -96 Maroon SS wanted a piece of me and I smoked him too. I love this car and I hope to update when I can afford to.

Hmmmm.. are you sure about that Jack? Where is Rock Island IL, I sur would like to take my SS out and run it up against your Marauder! ;)

Off the Line the Impala will SMOKE any stock Marauder. If it was a run from speed, the Marauder has better legs then the SS.

I can tell you a stock 96 SS will not smoke my stock MM off the line. I have a good friend that has one. We run neck and neck until 40 mph then I walk away from him. I've driven his car and yes it does feel stronger off the line but it really is not. My two cents.

Its just funny to read posts from the Impala forums and from the Marauder forums, because if you go to the Imp forums everyone is always talking about blowing the doors off of the MM's and you come here and its vice versa.:)

Thanks for the input mdmarauder....I had never seen or heard anyone even say they had a head to head with a SS...and jesse96 there are several post on this web where our SS guys say the MM will run with the SS...I would say most of the SSs have had a few mods by now...

Maybe so, but I don't recall seeing many posts here about blowing away Impalas...

I've never run up against one in my Marauder. But in years past I have had some jump me when driving a 'Stang GT or TBird V-8.

My point is that STOCK numbers I've seen show the SS and MM as about the same: mid to high 14's in the quarter mile.

Makes sense to me: the SS was the target after all.

There isn't too much here about blowing the doors of Impala SS, but what there is is usually honest

Where do those guys on the Imp board find all the MMs to blow the doors off?
While I know that they are around, I've yet to see another on the road. Then again I almost never see any Impala SSs either

I wonder the same thing. I have yet to pull up next to another Marauder. Impala SS, many times. But with so few MM on the road, it's hardly believable.
