I've been thinking about something like it; but instead, using the grill from an '02 F-150 Sport. I think there's enough stuff to make one, and giving it a try wouldn't necessarily mean destroying the stock unit, and puting it back if I didn't like the look. Nothing wrong with trying stuff; some work and some don't, I mean it's not like you tried to make a pickup out of your MM, y'know?:D

I think that the bigger question should be why a fellow Marauder owner wouldn't share information with you. I understand that he probably wants to have an extra special car but I don't think there's much of a risk of that grill style becoming popular.

Hey Patrick--Your plans were what I did before going to my current grill--see prior post here--but that will serve the purpose of removing that shinny silver "ball" on the front and back....Tom

With that owner's attitude about his grille, He won't be part of our group.

I am thinking about the same thing. Got to have front fascia repaired and painted , might as well have them paint the badges to match body color while I am at it.

You can get alot of different styles of expanded metal. Honeycomb is just one style available.
I got a catalog from my local sheetmetal guy's ( Penn Sheetmetal in Allentown, I buy alot of stuff from them for my Mustang project.) In it is all types, gauges and metals.
Try a local sheetmetal fabricator.
I don't think the CV honeycomb grille will fit, will it?

Hey Tom do you have a bigger Pic? I have been debated about exactly what to do and replaceing the grill and removing the badge in the back but cost have put that on the back burner. And I dont get into the Godshead logo. So I figured this would be the easy route for the stealth look.

I like the honeycomb. If I had one available that would not cost a few hundred $ I would have already installed it.
I currently have the godshead badges on front and rear that I crafted myself, but I don't have the tools or knowhow to do a grille.

Amen. I think with the exception of the peanut butter jar lid EVERYTHING I've done to my car has been based on what I've read here or seen on other members cars. NO ONE has ever stonewalled me on where or how questions about mods. That includes Marty's car and several other key players on the board. When my engine failed, the help that I received from the site was amazing. That jerk will never know what he's missing. Let him have his speed grill- I like my badgeless from Zack just fine.
Hey Tom do you have a bigger Pic?
Just for you, my friend Patrick...
