Bring your lunch 'cause there is a lot of info to absorb.
You can get pads for the Porter Cable RO polishers at www.griotsgarage.com (http://www.griotsgarage.com/).
They sell the porter cable units as well as the pads and lots of other car care stuff....
I use their wax, car wash, speed shine, clay, window glass polish, plastic polish, and metal polish... And the best thing I have ever used is their boars hair brush. It's about 1 foot long so you get lots of coverage in each pass. And of course it doesnt mark your paint. It lifts the dirt off the paint and makes washing the car much quicker. I am looking to buy a MM but am selling my 2004 F150 Supercrew and I can wash my truck in a couple minutes...
Anyway, hope this helped.

More specifically, here is a link to the pad itself..

I got mine at properautocare.com.
they have them for paint and gel coat.
you'll need the backer pad attachement if it didn't come with yours.
used on my black marauder and works great.

I received a Porter Cable Orbital polisher as a birthday gift last year. What a great tool for polishing and buffing..
I use Mother's products on my Marauder. And when I found a small surface scratch on my car I went to Mother's web site. It's has tech support that will respond to detailing questions. They gave suggestions on had to use my Porter Cable polisher and what speeds and what sequences I should use to repair or should I say blend cars finish. All in all it built my confidence enough to do the repair myself.
