SCT and Micro Tuner

Are the SCT and the Micro Tuner the same thing? I want a tuner that you don't have to hook up to a Computer or Laptop.

If you get the XCalibrator do you have to tell the people at SCT what mods you have done to your Marauder. For example, all my Marauder has is a KN replacement filter and I plan on putting in a 180* Stat, I want to order this from the Dennis Reinhart website. The X calibrator has 3 programs, can I set what I want? Like Traction Control off, a performance program, and maybe a gas mileage program?
