Just curious if there was more 2003 300A's made than there was 300B's? Or are more of the 300A's just hitting the market now?

I check autotrader.com every few days for MMs for sale and there are a lot of 2003's on there, but pretty much all of them, based on the pictures, are 300As (no TC, map pockets on seats, clock seperate from radio).

While I would really prefer a 2004, just wondering if a '03 300A will be just as good and help it out with a new tune for the motor/tranny? Just not sure I want to go without the TC and heated seats since it will be a daily driver with a lot of highway time.

Without looking at the production numbers, if I recall correctly there were more 300As produced than any other type, 7,000 or so. It also is the car the majority of us own on the site too. For me a 300A was the best choice, ofcourse I didnt know it at the time. But you have to realize that they were the first ones made and that is why their on the market first aswell. FIFO, first in first out.

Yes, I figured since they were first out that they would be first on the used market, just didn't know there were that many '03 300As out there. I got 8 pages of search results on Autotrader.com for any distance and most of those are 2003s. I am assuming it will happen to somewhat of the same extent with the 2004's over the next year or so.

Just hope the used market price continues to drop some - at least until I get one picked up... :cool4:
