Well I'm bummed out...

I just emailed JRE about getting a set of non-polished MM wheels and he said he had some, but doesn't anymore. :( I really like the look of the wheels, and the NP ones would have matched the "theme" of my car. Wes told me he could get them, but at $370 ea. they are way out of my price range. Now I'm debating on getting the LX Sport rims from Wes, or go aftermarket or try and piece meal a set on Ebay. Maybe I should just trade my CV in for a Marauder. :D

A lot of us looked at CV's and Sports before making the choice of the MM. Trading it for a MM is a good plan. You can do all sorts of stuff to the Vic, and spend tons of cash, but it's still not gonna be a Marauder. You should be able to make a fairly good deal, considering the origonal retail price of the MM.:D

Trade up to a Marauder you can't go wrong. :D The only problem IMO is that you will take a beating on your trade. :(

As much as I'd like to trade up, I just can't right now. It's too much money 'cause I'm saving up for my first house. Also, I'm very involved in the whole mobile audio aspect that just the thought of modifying a MM the way I will be changing the CV would just kill me. But it's nice to know that you guys are behind me 100% for when I do get a MM. :beer:

First... coordinate with willing 300A owners.....

THEN land a sweet deal on shiney MM rims... and just swap a shiney for each of the 300A spares.

I would be willing to swap my spare rim for a shiney rim.... I bet we could find others.

Your job now becomes finding the shiney rims.

If you do it right you might even be able to get the shiney rims dropped shipped to each 300A owner you are going to trade with. Then we just send you our rim.

Cool. I'm gonna do some searching. There's a couple on Ebay, but I guess I would need them to ship to me first, then I'll ship to whomever. Problem is it looks like they don't ship outside the US. :mad: I emailed JRE again. They might not have 4 spares, but they might have 4 shiney ones.

I have a source local to me. Used take offs vary in price with condition. As little as $160. He may have a spare (unpolished) or two as well.

If you find really cheap polished ones in not so good condition. You may powder coat them in any color you desire for as little as $150 a wheel as well.

Some time back, someone else traded polished for non-polished around here and it worked out well for them.

Unfortunately, I only have two sources at the moment. Ebay, and JRE. Well, four if you count Wes @ II and my local stealership. If you could find out from your "source" that would be great. I know there's one spare on Ebay right now that would be willing to ship to Canada...
