My front grill piece seems to have a "dent" in the top edge. It doesn't line up well with the body panel behind it... Is this part metal and could be brought out?

I belive the only metal on the grill is the screws...

Well in that case perhaps I can get a front grill piece under warranty... (sigh)

Hi Kevin.
Hmmmm well then... guess I better hit the Ford guys up before it goes in for paint..... (which is Monday)
No sense doing a paint job over a part that has an "issue".
Still waiting for the box with the jacket..... soon as it gets here it is coming your way !

It is from overtightening.
It cant be repaired

Lucky you. Now you get a new grill and can use the old one to do a Zac badgeless one without the stupid hockey puck/sticks emblem in it. They're way cool.:D

The dealer will cover it under warranty. Parts that are replaced under warranty are returned to Ford ? They don't allow me to keep them in any event so I won't have a grill available.
Thanks for the input tho.

Interesting that I should see a thread on this...I was just noticing mine the other day. It's got a warped look along the top, right at the seam where it joins the front fascia...I'd post a picture but I don't have one at the moment...

I had noticed the top of my grille had a wavy "rippled" appearance, though it didn't bother me much. After having it replaced after an accident, the warped look is gone (every black cloud has a silver lining). Maybe, as a previous post suggested, the screws were wound too tight at the factory.

Zack are you still making badgeless grills?
I have an extra grill and am looking for someone to make me a badgeless one.
