Friday nite bracket races. The lites shorted out the final 1/2 of the track so they only ran 1/8 mile. I almost went home but realized the race is usually won at the tree.
My number was 666, the devil!
First run and I cut a .008 Lite! :banana2: Looks like it's gonna be a good nite!
First race I dial in 8.91. My R/T is .132 to his .399. I hit a n 9.036, win by .3011.
Second race I dial in 8.81. My R/T is .123. I hit 8.932, let up the throttle becuase I have passed him and afraid to break out, and win because the other guy brakes out at 10.896 with a dial in of 10.96.
Third race I am running againest a guy in a first gen trailered yellow Lightning. I have shot the bull with him many a time, he is a regular and a great guy. He is 20 and it is a project that him and his dad work on together.I dial in 8.91. My R/T is .107. I hit 8.922, win by .0396! :burnout:
Fourth race I am up againest the 2002 Track champion i a LS-1 Camaro that runs the 1/4 in 11.4. Earlier he had commented that I was cutting some good lites. I say my first time trial I cut a .008 R/T and show him the time slip. It's called psych war, to try to get him to red lite!.
I get lane pick and choose the left lane to show him how confident I am, ( most choose the rite because it is easier to see the tree ) more psych war!
I cut a .065 R/T. to his .210, he is coming up behind me fast, I can hear header exhaust booming behind me like an approaching ambulance syren. My dial in is 8.90. I hit 8.975 to win by .0605! :banana2:
I finally the beat the one guy that has beaten me every time and that guy is me. I make it to the 3rd round and red lite every time, but not to nite. I go home a winner.
The guy I beat rode his bike over to my car to congratulate me, what a class act he is!

Awesome job! You can't cut a light any closer to perfection than you did that night. Way to show what 2 tons of Panther power can do. :burnout: :banana2:

I race at No Problem in Belle Rose South Louisiana. In the MM I have been to the track for races and Test N' Tunes 15 times with a total of 97 runs.
I had my car Dyno tuned in March and Dyno tuned again in November on the same dyno. Although I put 16K miles and 60 runs at the track in between the HP and TQ numbers were the same! This indicates the MM has a strong engine!

.008 is pretty good, grasshopper! Keep trying and maybe you can tie me with a .000! Search and you'll see my time ticket that I posted.
Glad to see you winning. It's all about the timing and practice, practice, practice. I'm lucky, there's a good track here in Bradenton and it has a test & tune night most Thursdays, so I get lots of practice. $10 admission and $5 to run all night from 7 to 11.
Never had this much fun for $15. Must be the car. :D
