Got my Xcalibrator from Lidio Monday. Just put the tune in this morning.

:D WOW. :D This thing shifts like a beast at WOT, and perfect in normal driving. THANKS LIDIO and Alternative Perfomance.

Now to put in the 4.56's........yeah you heard me right, 4.56's. Had Lidio put a tune in for 3.55's, 4.30's, and 4.56's. I'm going straight to the 4.56's to hang with BillyGman. I wanna smoke ricers, and don't need to go fast on the highway. Heavy car needs low gears. (Just notice the RPM where our cars start to REALLY PULL, pretty sure it's 3200-3500 RPM. 4.56's will put you there QUICK.)

Thanks to BillyGman for his input and help on getting me directed towards the right parts. :bows:

4.56 - 27.9 (Avg Tire Height) - 112 MPH - 6151 RPM - 1:1 (Third Gear)
4.56 - 27.9 (Avg Tire Height) - 140 MPH - 5382 RPM - 0.7:1 (OD)

It's all good.

Lidio is truly the man. I doubt there is anyone out there busier than him, but he always takes the time to talk to you about your car. I look forward to my dyno-tune.

Many people think the car will be "screaming" on the highway with the 4:56 gears. That is not the case. If you weren't aware of the gear change, you might not even notice it. I've ridden in Billy's car on the highway and had to look at the tachometer to really notice. The acceleration from a dead stop, however, is a life-changing expirience...:burnout:

How long did it take the Xcalibrator to program the PCM?

I make my own tunes and flash the PCM using the SCT flasher. It takes roughly 5-6 minutes to flash the PCM, and 1 min to program the flasher.

I'm thinking about buying an Xcalibrator to tune the E-250 only if it is much faster than the flasher. I waste too much time at the track flashing the PCM.

Took about 4 minutes total. Lidio told me that once the intial stock program is downloaded it's even faster to switch tunes. Couple of minutes.

Can he email new tunes to you? If so, how much?
