Well folks, this is going to be my last entry for the time being so here goes. The dealership called and said my car was ready. My lovely wife and I took the Grand Marquis loaner back so we could retrieve the Marauder. When we got there the gentleman, and he was a gentleman came out of the office with a sheet of paper that the tech told him to give to me, answering the question of start up smoke and oil on ( 1 ) spark plug. By the way, it was the #8 cylinder. It was a xeroxed copy of some engine parts book I ASSUME, and we know what that does. According to this page it states that some "FORGED" pistons will allow some oil to escape into the cylinders until they warm up and expand thereby causing a puff of oil smoke on cold start ups. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but I'm pretty sure that the Marauder engines came from the factory with a cast crank and hypereutectic pistons. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I am  Thanks for listening to my little story.

You're not wrong. Let us know if you'd like an angry mob of Marauder owners to show up at your dealership service center with you to beat the bejesus outta that guy. :)

Tom.....did I read in another post that you had built some motors? Regardless, these people must think you are a :censor: idiot. Sounds like the dealership that I purchased my MM from, and I do not frequent any longer. I would be happy to help you out and stick my other foot in your dealers :censor: ! That, however, would leave me immobile, because I am still trying to pry my right foot out of my dealer. It's funny to watch me hop around. Best of luck!!!
