I found these GT Coil Covers on ebay for $70 including shipping. Seems like some place in Goergia bought up a lot of them and now can't get rid of them. Now they want $80 shipped but that is still a great deal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7956413174&category=33627&sspagename=WDVW

posted by ebayOWN A PIECE OF HISTORY! THESE ARE THE GENUINE COIL COVERS FROM FORD'S SUPERCAR THE GT - NOT THE MUSTANG - THE GT. ALUMINUM, EMBOSSED WITH POWERED BY FORD. FITS ALL 4V ENGINES, 99-04 COBRA AND MACH1. EASY INSTALLATION. INCLUDES GASKETS. SOLD AS A PAIR. LIMITED AVAILABILITY.
How are the gaskets installed, do they come already in place like on the stock coil covers, or do they have to be installed separately ? Would like to see the back of the coil covers to get an idea. Thanks

Thanks Directedby, just like on the stock ones.....nice peice of work. :2thumbs:
Nicely done Paul. I think one of the coolest things about those coming the way they do is the ability to customize them....like we did with Marty's.
Yours look GREAT!!!!

Those covers are totally cool. And your little addition makes them unique.
I wish those were available when Jess dropped the dough on a set of polished trilogy covers...:o

I saw those exact same covers and thought of doing the same.
Now that I see what you've done with yours, I just might have to go and get a pair for myself...
On second thought, I think I'll wait awhile.
They want $100 + $7.00 for shipping...
The price will come down soon...
They have 32 pairs...

Definatly look very nice. I'm gonna keep an eye on that price and if they come down i might have to pick them up. Any idea if the Innovative Interceptor brass thumbscrews will fit with these coil covers?

it is your standard engine paint - any auto store has it. i bought in spray can - then sprayed it into a cup - then used brush to apply. paint comes in ford blue and ford red.

Those are sensational! BTW, I think Ray has those at a better price, or at least they were, when I got mine. Now I'm even more determined to paint/powder coat the valve covers as well. BTW, I never got an answer from DupliColor if their Mystic paint kit will handle the engine heat.

Very nice,
They appear to be a good match for chrome valve covers.

Yes, I have one set left. $99.46 plus shipping. In the future, if you need something please PM or email me. One of my employees read this or I would have never answered. Thanx, Ray

You need about a 3/8 of an inch thick washer or coller on the thumbscrews so they don't touch the covers.

I got a set of these covers from Ray.
I am going to tape them up with painters tape,
cut out the letters with an Xacto knife,
and spray each color right out of the can.
The project should produce the same results,
cause I can't paint by hand to save my life.
I don't even like painting the house...
