I am thinking about some vents on the front fenders.

What do you think?

There are some wild choices, but I am leaning towards the tri-vents.

Tri Vents

300C Vents (also avail in oval)

If they aren't functionally beneficial - I wouldn't do it.

I don't consider the Marauder as a car that benefits from enhancing esthetically.

Interesting idea(s).....I wonder if anyone can 'photochop' those choices to get an idea what they would look like on a Marauder.

I would stay away from the 300C type vents as they look too much like a Buick.

I would make the tri-vents functional.

The BMW style are kindof cool. Only if you could make them work somehow then they would be cooler.

Rice IMO especially if they're nonfunctional.

Sorry , but I think those things are ugly and have no place on a MM.

For functionality, simply slotting the bolt at the bottom of the fender where it attaches in front of the door at the bottom and pulling the fender out about a half inch or so, would give enough venturi effect to exhaust the pressure out of the fender without effecting the design that much. Internal venting is assumed of course, a port in the inner fender well.

This stuff only really starts to have much effect until your getting up around 140 or so. I remember driving the ZR1 Corvette once when I worked for the Chevrolet store and the ground effects and vents actually made the car squat closer to the road, but that was around 140, and there just isn't that much opportunity to do a lot of that.

I am also toying with the idea of puttting vents in the hood, two small ones that look like the GT40. This is a design change I might consider along with the Mustang type black stripes down the middle.
