I noticed while checking dealer inventory the the Sticker price of the 300B went down $20.00 but they added $20.00 to the shipping cost. Heated seats went from $260 to $295 and the 6 disc CD changer from $350 to $395. I think FMC is trying additional ways to make up the cost of Traction Control. John

This actually pi$$es me off...instead of gouging people for options they want, why not just make the damn TC optional...let people who want it pay for it...why is Ford monkeying around like this?!?!
Yes, I know that's a radical concept from someone who works for the cable company, but this is different...no, really...it is...

I don't think it has anything to do with Traction Control. Traction Control is only something like a $175 option, and they easily made that up with the spare tire switch

Sounds inexpensive, you don't get much today for $175. The thing that gets me is FMC deleted equipment from the 300B and didn't offer these items as an option. John

I saw that price on the window sticker od a CV LX Sport. I'm not sure why it wasn't available earlier on a Marauder. I had read somewhere that it had something to with the Marauder requiring different programing for TC

RC Thanks - On my 2000 GM ABS and Traction Control was an option for $775. Typical FMC BS. John

Wow John! That $775 does sound like FMC :bs: I just looked at the window sticker from my 2002 CV Sport and the ABS + TC option only added on an extra $175 to the sticker price. Something doesn't make sense here!

ditto with the 175 dollar ad on for the TC on my LX sport. Also why would anybody want to pay for a programmer for traction control when you can just HIT THE BUTTON and turn it off. I need to find all the people who bought that thing because I have some property in the swa......I mean beach front property I would like to sell them

Both Vics - I have the window sticker in hand. It states $775.00 Anti-Lock Brakes W/Traction Control. This 2000 GM is a GS, different models have different standard and optional equipment which can effect the price. Handling package $855.00, Keyless Entry $240.00. John
