Got a coupon from Lincoln Mercury for free service interval.
If you recieve a color mailer (envelope) from Lincoln Merc. Don't throw it Away!!!
Their is a coupon for a free service visit and a coupon worth $103.99 in parts a labor.Plus a free tire rotation ;No catch- no Qualifiers!!:woohoo:
The Envelope has a silver Mariner and Montego pictured sitting side by side in the garage.
I think I will try to get Gas filter (larger one)thermostat and plugs.Any bets if the coupon will cover the costs of those three items?

I bet it will only cover exact replacements...I highly doubt you'd get the dealer to install the larger filter upgrade or a cooler thermostat (or plugs)...

You should have taken 'em up on the offer. I sat in a new Saab Convertible at the Washington Auto Show back on 1 January. All I can say is "Very Nice". :D Of course, I wouldn't trade my Marauder for one.

The tyre rotation's a biggie. Wonder how they're gonna do that, as I'd like to watch?

What's the big deal? You take the wheels/tires off one side of the car and swap them with the other side. Obviously you don't swap them front to rear, but you still need to go side to side. My dealer does that for the asking, don't need no coupon.

Well, yeh; but what's the point? My comment was ment to be humorous; but now that you've made the point, let's examine the issue. I'll observe that there is no recommended maintance requirement or advantage to rotating tires from the right side to the left side, or vice versa. Also, in the case of directional tires, doing so would make them turn in the wrong direction. :bop:

May only be a regional thing, but the Dealers are going after the(our) service business pretty hard.
Got a service coupon for 21 pt inspection, free battery test, and oil change for less than ten clams:D
Also all Maintenence items perscribed at 30K at a good discount.trans flush coolant tires ect.
So keep your eyes open and visit the dealer for service and good things can happen!:bricks: :run:
